About
Hello!
As a Parent Educator in one of Minnesota's Early Childhood & Family Education (ECFE) programs, I seek to provide my families with community connections, resources, and information to help them expand critical thinking skills and navigate the American parenting world. We are often bombarded with advice on how to raise our kids from nutrition to screen time, and it can be difficult to decipher your own truth. I hope you can use this site as an additional resource to help you in your journey through parenthood or guardianship.
I graduated from UW-Eau Claire with an undergraduate degree in Writing. After spending some time at home with my daughter and devouring parenting information, I found myself enrolling in the University of Minnesota's Master's of Family Education program. Through that program I received my Master's and license to teach Early Childhood and Family Education classes.
My husband and I welcomed our first daughter, Penelope, in 2014, and we had our second daughter, Florence, in 2019. Our family is rounded out by our cat, Lexington, and our dog, Summit. As a family, we love to hike, go to MN United soccer games as season ticket holders, and work towards a more environmentally friendly home and minimalist lifestyle.
